Portland Baseball Club is excited to annnounce the addition of Eric Trice and Trice Athletics! Eric is available at PBC by appointment only for all your SPARQ training needs. Get faster and stronger on the baseball field by training with someone who not only knows the strength and speed training requirements, but has also played the game.
In 1990, Eric Trice (the owner of Trice Athletic) was drafted by the Cleveland Indians and at the same time received a scholarship to run track for the University of Oregon. He accepted the scholarship and became a sprinter for the Ducks before eventually being drafted again by the New York Yankees in 1992. Because injuries ended his career early, he attended law school and practiced law in Portland, OR. Eric’s passion for sports led him back into the sports industry. He accepted a position in Baseball and Football with adidas for 3 years. Wanting to focus on the training aspect of sports, Eric became the Director of Baseball for SPARQ (Speed Power Agility Reaction Quickness), in 2006. While at SPARQ, he focused on developing the Football, Baseball, and Softball training businesses.
He also helped develop the SPARQ Ratings, while SPARQ testing and training with high school athletes and the best collegiate and professional baseball and football athletes in the nation. Eric is now applying his training background and experiences to providing effective private training and group training for both serious athletes and people that enjoy a challenging workout.
For high school and collegiate athletes, we also help advise and guide you through the process of playing sports at the next-level. Our expertise and network of resources will enhance your ability navigate the map to achieving success in your sport, whether that be participating in the best tournaments/showcase, or playing on the best scout/summer teams, or even getting a scholarship at a respected college or university. Ultimately, we want to empower student-athletes to become more productive individuals through sports, educational, and personal development. |
