Chris Mueller - 503-830-5622 |
Chris is the coach of our PBC 14U team and enters coaching after injuries derailed his college career. Chris comes from Westside Christian High School in Lake Oswego where he was a four year varsity starter as a pitcher, third baseman, and shortstop. He was a 3 time all state selection and player of the year his senior year. His senior year summer Chris played on the 2009 Portland Baseball Club 18U team coached by Chris Lewis, Mick Ellett, and Will Brendza. His season was cut short with a shoulder injury.
He went on to pitch one year at Feather River Community College in California. He pitched exclusively there as both a starter and a closer for coach Terry Baumgartner. After one year, he went to Linfield College and pitched for coaches Scott Brosius and Scott Carnahan. After getting his velocity up to 92-93 and beginning to get looks from MLB teams, he suffered yet another injury and decided to hang up the spikes and enter coaching.
Chris is available for lessons 7 days a week. |
