Portland Baseball Club offers skill specific classes throughout the offseason for players to develop their skills in small group settings. These classes run on a monthly basis starting the week of January 30th. Class sizes are kept to a minimum to ensure individualized instruction.

The cost for our preset small group classes is $200 a month for unlimited visits. Come to any and all of the sessions that fit your schedule each week. Pay for a month at a time with no long term commitment. Classes will continue as long as there is demand.

PBC Infield Classes

Tuesdays from 8-9pm

Saturdays from 10-11am

The PBC infield class will teach you the proper footwork, mechanics, and timing to be a consistent infielder. Learn approach and how to work through the baseball, forehands, backhands, short hops, slow rollers, double plays, flips and feeds, and much more..

PBC Hitting Classes

Mondays from 8-9pm

Saturdays from 11-12pm

The PBC hitting class will teach you the mechanics to maintain your power with the new BBCOR bats. These bats have substantially less pop than previous bats so it is even more important to have a mechanically sound baseball swing utilizing all torque and leverage your body can produce. Bunting mechanics will be covered as well.

PBC Pitching Classes

Mondays from 7-8pm

Saturday from 12-1pm

The PBC pitching class will teach you the proper mechanics to minimize injury while maximizing pitching potential. Learn the proper upper and lower body mechanics that lead to a connected and healthy throwing motion. Learn about staying closed, direction, and the proper finish to cushion and arm deceleration.

PBC Catching Classes

Wednesdays from 8-9pm

The PBC catching class will teach the proper stances, footwork, throwing mechanics, blocking, and receiving necessary to be a good catcher. It's one of the most important positions on the field and learning the correct mechanics is the difference between being an average catcher and a great catcher.
