Congratulations to Team PBC Coaches who defeated the Non Seans 43-41 in the championship game of the 2011 PBC Fall Hitting League. It was a great season and a fun tournament to end the year. Look out for future hitting leagues and one day tournaments.
The Portland Baseball Club Indoor Hitting League features teams of 3-4 players competing in 9 inning games every Sunday for 5 weeks. Every team plays two games back to back on Sundays. 8 league games and a single elimination playoffs to wrap up the league.
Runs are scored by hitting line drives to various areas of the batting cage. Hard hit balls score points. Ground balls and fly balls are outs. 3 outs to an inning. Every ball that does not score a run is an out. A fast paced game with lots of runs scored.
The hitting league is open to players of all ages and gender. Baseball and softball players are welcome. Children and adults.
