Joe started Portland Baseball Club in 2008 after spending 5 years as the General Manager of NW Star Academy.
Joe has been the head coach for both the PBC 14U and 18U programs. He took over the 18U program in 2011 and led the team to the Babe Ruth World Series and a second place finish. As General Manager, NW Star Academy grew exponentially. They formed a very successful Apple Cup Fall League which grew to 24 teams in 2008. They coordinated 3 summer teams at the 14U, 18U, and collegiate levels. The 18U team went on an amazing run in 2008 winning Senior Babe Ruth state, regionals, and the World Series in Newark, Ohio.
Prior to NW Star Academy, Joe completed his BA in Communications at Lewis & Clark College where he was a 3 year starter as a pitcher and middle infielder. Before LC, Joe attended Green River CC in Auburn, WA for one season.
