Coaches Information Page

Coaches - This is the page you should check every week for league updates. Any schedule changes, league requests, and updated information will first be posted to this page. This will also be the page where you find rainout information on Sunday mornings. Check this page before you leave for your games.

Monday October 12th

Congratulations to Portland Baseball Club. They defeated Showtime 6-0 to win the Portland Baseball Club Fall League Championship. The team picture is coming soon.

Monday October 5th

Congratulations to The Yard Black. They defeated Vancouver 6-3 to win the Portland Baseball Club Junior Fall League Championships. Picture coming soon.

In the high school division, Portland Baseball Club beat Aloha 15-1 and Showtime beat Broadstreet Bullies 8-5. Showtime and Portland Baseball Club will face off on Sunday October 11th at Salem-Keizer Volcanoes Stadium for the championship. Game time is 1:00pm.

Sunday October 4th

As of 8:00am, all games are on as scheduled for today.

In Saturday's playoff games, Showtime defeated both Union and Cobras to earn a spot in the semi finals. Aloha defeated The Yard Red who earlier beat Sherwood.

Saturday October 3rd

As of 9:00am, all games are on as scheduled for today. Showtime and Union play at 10:00am at Battle Ground HS with the winner playing Cobras at 12:30pm. Also The Yard Red and Sherwood play at 11:00am at Tualatin HS with the winner playing Aloha at 1:30pm.

Friday October 2nd

Some schedule changes:

The junior league tournament will now take place at Hazel Dell LL. Vancouver will play Demarini at 10:00am followed by The Yard Black and The Yard Red at 12:30pm. The winners of those two games will play for the championship at 3:00pm.

Location and game time change for the HS division. The Yard Red and Sherwood will now play at 11:00am at Tualatin HS with the winner playing again at 1:30pm against Aloha.

Monday September 28th

We have completed our regular season games and now head into our single elimination post season tournament. All teams qualify for the tournaments.

High School Division

There will be 4 games played on Saturday October 3rd and 4 games played on Sunday October 4th to determine the final two teams that will play for the championship. The championship game will take place at 1:00pm on Sunday October 11th at Salem-Keizer Volcanoes Stadium.

Junior Division

The junior division will feature a 4 team single elimination tournament with the final two teams playing for the championship. The semi-final games will take place at Sunday October 4th at Tualatin HS. The championship game will be on Sunday October 11th at Salem-Keizer Volcanoes Stadium. Game time is 10:00am.

Salem-Keizer and Portland Baseball Club will be playing a makeup DH this Sunday starting at 10:00am at Salem-Keizer Stadium. Both teams will not participate in the single elimination tournament.

Saturday September 26th

Schedule Change

Demarini and Portland Baseball Club will now play 1 9 inning game starting at 11:00am at Walker Stadium in Lents Park.

Monday September 21st

We have one week of league play remaining before our playoffs begin. Coaches, please the check the scores on the website to ensure they are correct.

There is one schedule change for this week. The games between The Yard Red and Showtime will now be played at Battle Ground HS. Game time is still 11:00am.

Sunday September 20th

All games are on as scheduled for today. Enjoy the great weather.

Coaches, please bring your waiver forms and give them to the field administrator. The administrators will be giving you your bats today as well. They just came in.

Tuesday September 8th

I hope everyone had a relaxing Labor Day Weekend. We move into our 3rd week of league games this Sunday. A few updates:

Individual player waivers are due. Please give them to your onsite administrators. We need one for every player. Have every player fill out the registration form and bring to you this Sunday if you haven't done so already.

The training facility at 125 SE Stark St. in Portland is open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-9pm for open workouts. Individuals and teams are invited to come down and work out.

Schedule Change:

The HS division game between Portland Baseball Club & The Yard Red is changed to a 10:00am start time at George Fox University.

Sunday August 30

Another great weekend of games. Weather held up and some close games.

I want to remind everyone that starting on Tuesday September 1st, our training facility at 125 SE Stark St. in Portland will be open for all teams and players in our league to use free of charge from 7-9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Coaches are not required to be with their team and individual players can just drop in and hit/throw/field/etc. Lesson times are available before and after.

Please continue collecting your waiver forms and team fees. I would like to have those all taken care of by this Sunday. I am available to meet you to collect fees and waivers or just bring them to the facility during open workout times.

Sunday August 23

Good first week of games. I made it around to see about 4 sites and some good games going on. A few updates and reminders:

Please get your players to complete the waiver form and return to you this Sunday. I would like to have them all collected this Sunday. Just give them to the administrator.

Fees are due. Please send them in, give them to the administrator this upcoming week, or email me to set up a time and I will come get them.

The bats are on order and you should get those the week after Labor Day. The administrators will deliver them to you on game day.

Please completed the roster form in your email and email back. I'd like to get rosters of whose on each team so we don't have any confusions.

If anyone is looking to add Saturday games, I know of 2 teams that are looking for games. Shoot me an email and I will get you in touch. Remember, PBC will pay for up to two additional game dates for Saturday games.

Thursday Aug. 20

2 teams had to drop out of the junior league due to lack of players, so we had to change the schedule around a bit. Please download the updated schedule here.

There is a location change for the HS league on Sunday Sept. 27th. The game between The Yard Black and Union will now be played at Union HS.

Your league fees and player waivers are due at your first game. Please give the check and the waivers to your field administrator who will introduce himself prior to your first games. If you need additional waivers, please download it here.
