Portland Baseball Club 14U History

Portland Baseball Club was formed in November of 2008 to provide high level training and competitive teams for Portland area baseball players. Our 14U team has become one of the top instructional programs around with a reputation for building smart baseball players and great catchers.

Smart baseball players are those who understand the game. They know where to be on every play. They understand game situations. Players can correct themselves on the field pitch to pitch.

We don't measure our success at the 14U age level on wins and losses. We measure it on the ability of our players to make and compete on their high school teams. All of our players play high school baseball and most are varsity players by their Junior year. When players look back at their experience playing for the PBC 14U team, it's to reflect on how many tournaments they won, but the life lessons they learned about how to compete day in and day out while becoming better baseball players.
