The Portland Baseball Club 18U Senior Babe Ruth Team is Portland's premier summer baseball team for high school age players. The team is run like a college program. This gives players a taste and an edge on the competition heading into their freshman year of college. The team will play a 45+ game schedule including a 10 game Babe Ruth league schedule, non-league games against the top travel teams from Washington, 2 hosted elite tournaments, and 2 invitational tournaments - including the highly sought after Curt Daniels Invitational. In addition to games, players have the ability to train with Portland Baseball Club coaches throughout the year at our indoor training facility in SE Portland. All players will have the opportunity to be video analyzed throughout the year. Players also receive facility memberships and can use the facility an unlimited amount of times. Portland Baseball Club News: Portland Baseball Club will host the 2010 Pacific NW Senior Babe Ruth Regional Tournament. The tournament will be held at Clackamas CC. PBC coaches offer instructional camps throughout the winter. Check out our Camps page for dates and info. 2010 Portland Baseball Club 18U players are making their college committments. Check our NEWS page for updates on where they will be playing college baseball. Brad Neffendorf named 2010 18U team head coach. Assistant coaches will be Mick Ellett, Will Brendza, and Nic Chapin. 2009 18U team finished in 3rd place at the Pacific NW Senior Babe Ruth Regional Tournament at University of Washington Stadium. |
