Portland Baseball Club is proud to offer its second year of the wood bat Portland Baseball Club Fall League. The PBC league features doubleheaders played every Sunday at the top high school and college baseball fields in Oregon and SW Washington. The 2009 league featured 10 teams in our high school division and 6 teams in our junior high school division. We look forward to expanding in 2010 and maintaining the highest quality of competition and organization.

Advantages to playing in the Portland Baseball Club Fall League include:

• League coordinator Joe Taylor has over 6 years of fall baseball league coordination experience.
• 10 game league schedule plus 2 game playoffs.
• League provided schedule limiting travel while making sure teams are playing different competition then they see during the HS season and summer ball.
• Separate divisions for “Academy/Club” teams and single school based teams.
• Option of starting before or after Labor Day Weekend. Start either August 29th or September 12th.
• 3 baseballs provided for every game pre-assigned and handed out at coaches meeting. No traveling to pick up baseballs.
• Certified, 2 man crew PBUA umpires used every game.
• League website with schedules, scores, highlights, updates, and more.
• Discounts for providing home fields for the league.
• League is designed for pre-formed teams, but individuals are welcome and will be placed on a team.

NEW Registration Options and Fees for 2010

Team Signup - A team is defined as a group of 10 or more players and a coach. There are 3 team fee options:
• Team Fee with 2 Fields Provided - $1000
• Team Fee with 1 Field Provided - $1100
• Team Fee with 0 Field Provided - $1250
All teams must wear matching team uniforms with numbers. Hats and jerseys can be purchased through PBC for an additional fee.

Individual Signup - Any individual player may sign up and will be placed on a team as close to their high school or city as possible. The individual player fee is $175.

All fees, team roster, and jersey/hat orders must be finalized by August 30th, 2010. This deadline allows for the schedule to be completed, league website to be updated, and scheduling of the league coaches meeting.
